About Us

Lady Who Cares is a 501 (c)3 nonprofit community service organization. Established in 2020, A food pack program for local students that provides nutritional supplemental food items for children who depend on the school system for food that may not have enough to eat at home on the weekends and school breaks.  The program provides basic food needs to the children in our community. Our partnering school organization refer the students to Lady Who Care year-round program, and we deliver the backpacks to the school on a weekly basis. The food is purchased through our partnership with MFN, then sent home with the identified student. We are working hard to expand to meet the need of more students to fight weekend hunger. Lady Who Cares year-round program is in its second year, thanks to our partnering school. We have provided food backpacks to 30 students during the 2024 school year. We serve the children of Noxubee County.
